2006-2007 Season

"A Season of Comedy"

Our fall play will be "The Face on the Barroom Floor" an olde tyme melodrama.  It runs from October 13-15 in the Auditorium and concerns the exploits of Jack "Toulouse" Goodhart and his fair lady Sweet Madeline Mockingbird as they fight for love in the old west.  This is a classic melodrama, with crazy characters, evil villains, and great jokes.  The performances will be fun much like they were in the 1890's with extra vaudeville acts in between scenes, and a live piano score.  Audience participation is wanted and encouraged!!

The winter play will be Woody Allen's classic "Don't Drink the Water".  This comedic farce takes place behind the Iron Curtain of an unnamed communist country at an American Embassy.  The ambassador has left her incopetent son in charge of things for a week, which allows him to completely ruin not only American/Communist relations but accidentally endanger the lives of a US family of tourists.  With the Americans stuck at the embassy, threats of death and a visiting sheik on the way, things fall into chaos.  Come join us February 2-4 in the Auditorium for a night of laughs.

The Musical has not yet been determined.  We will pass along the information as soon as it is available.
