Senior Art Student of the Month

March

Rachael Havey

     Rachael is the daughter of Sabra and Donald Havey. She attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School in Waterloo and has spent her high school career at Gibault. 
     Currently enrolled in Art 2, Rachael has also taken Drawing 1 & 2, Art 1, and Ceramics 1 & 2 at Gibault.
     Following graduation Rachael plans to attend Southwestern Illinois College for two years, then transfer to Chicago Institute of art for a Fine Arts degree.

Ashley Walker

      Ashley is the daughter of Karen and Mike Walker. She attended Sts. Peter & Paul Elementary School. At Gibault, Ashley has  taken Drawing I & II, Advanced Art I and Ceramics I and is currently enrolled in Advanced Art II and Ceramics II. After her graduation from Gibault later this year, Ashley plans to attend Fontbonne University to major in Advertising.

A. J. Krump

         A. J. is the son of Joe Krump and Sherry Schwab. He attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Grade School in Waterloo and has spent his entire high school career at Gibault. 
       Currently enrolled in Advanced Art II, A. J.  has also taken Drawing I, Drawing II, and Advanced Art I. He won 1st place in the sculpture category at Art Du Jour his junior year and has received numerous awards for sculptures and drawings in past Gibault art contests. His favorite media include clay and pen & ink.
         In his free time, A. J. enjoys hanging out with friends or doodling with pen, ink and paper.  His future plans include spending 6 years with the Air Force National Guard and attending Western Illinois University to major in criminal justice.
